Reading week, Stockholm

Half the budget
is wasted.
Famously.

An old line. Still mostly right. Notes on marketing measurement — from the conversations I'm having and the things I'm reading.
This is where I think out loud.

Currently
In Stockholm, sitting with a few things I read this week.

01 — A short introduction

What I do, when
someone asks.

The longer I do this, the harder it is to explain.

Broadly it's digital marketing transformation, but every time I say it out loud I feel like I'm reading off a slide deck.

The truer answer is messier. What keeps me interested is a strange pair: why and how people buy things, and the cold numbers we use to make sense of it. I help people solve problems in that gap, plus the tech holding it all together. Call it martech advisory, measurement strategy, analytics engineering. Or whatever fits the room.

Here is where I gather reflections on projects I'm working on, conversations I've had, things I've read. If you want specifics: marketing measurement, mostly, for now.

Plus side projects that have nothing to do with any of this, mostly an excuse to feed my AI-assisted coding habit.

02 — What I write about
Things that came up in conversation. Things I read and couldn't shake. Numbers that didn't add up. Questions worth sitting with. Notes I wanted to keep.

Things I built
on the side.

A small note

Most of these are prototypes — not shipped yet, but I'd love to see them out in the real world.

Get in touch and we'll try to make it happen.

05 — Say hi

Coffee?

If you've read this far, hi. Saying hi back works.

Open door. For the ones trying to get a straight answer from their dashboard, the ones trying to give it, and anyone caught in the middle. Coffee in Stockholm — or virtual from anywhere.
